People get used to foods that take a long time to spoil. Mass-market, shrink-wrapped food is designed to last a long time. Flavors are designed to be consistent over months or, for canned goods, years.
Well, what about food that’s good for about fifteen minutes from the time you prepare it? The first thing that comes to mind is freshly extracted vegetable juice. Foods with such short shelf lives (at least once prepared) don’t get eaten enough in my opinion, at least by me.
I’d like to eat more of the short life food and less of the long life food.
